A Pediatric Radiologists is a Radiologist who has received additional training exclusive to medical imaging in children. It is accepted that children are not “little adults” and pediatric sub-specialization of Radiologists, Surgeons, and other physicians is a testament to that fact. Pediatric Radiologists use MRI, ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, CT scans, and x-rays to diagnose and treat illnesses of childhood and adolescence. Although we are not as visible to you as other physicians, we are nearly always a part of the team taking care of your child when you visit Driscoll facilities.
